Green Initiative

Bella Sera has been recognized by the Green Restaurant Association as Pittsburgh’s First Certified Green Restaurant. It is also Pennsylvania’s first Caterer and Event Facility to earn the Green Restaurant Association's prestigious certification seal and the 5th Caterer / Venue to be certified as such in America. We have implemented the many environmentally sustainable practices in accordance with the Green Restaurant Association’s rigorous guidelines. How do we do it? By recycling and composing, having energy efficient lighting throughout our facility, water and paper conservation, using earth-friendly disposable products as well as superior quality, fresh ingredients and keep it as local as possible.
